 The Old Supreme Court Chamber in the United States Capitol Building—Senate Chamber from 1800 –1808 and site of Thomas Jefferson's inauguration in 1801, the first in Washington, D.C. It was reconstructed and used by the Supreme Court from 1810 – 1860. Design and umbrella vault ceiling by architect Benjamin Latrobe.
