The Ultimate New York City Tour
Guided New York City Tour takes you inside more attractions
You won’t spend your time standing in line on this tour that takes you to the most popular attractions in Manhattan because “Jump-the-Line” tickets have been pre-purchased for you. Travel in new 2012 model shuttles—not quite a limo, this luxury mini-bus is not a huge motor-coach or double-decker bus either.
This relatively new tour is receiving excellent reviews.
Three options: 1) Full Tour, 2) Skip Statue of Liberty, 3) Skip Empire State Building. Go directly to booking or read on for details.
Your tour begins at 8:30 am outside the family friendly Mars Restaurant at Times Square—51st and Broadway. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
After learning about Times Square you will proceed to Saint Patrick’s Cathedral with a stop for a quick look at the amazing interior and then repeat the experience at Grand Central Station.
After these brief stops your tour continues to Little Italy for a 20 minute guided walk. As your guide describes the many wonderful restaurants along the way you may want take time to make reservations to return for dinner.
For those who have opted for including the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island the next stop begins your 2.5 hour adventure to the first sight and first stop for so many people who immigrated to the US. Your pre-purchased priority ticket will move you to near the front of the line so you can quickly enjoy the boat ride on New York Harbor and your visit to the Statue of Liberty National Monument including Ellis Island Immigration Station where you will want to buy lunch.
Guests who opt to skip the Statue of Liberty will continue to Chelsea Market, made famous by and home to the Food Network, for a 75 minute lunch stop before heading downtown for guided walks on Wall Street, to Federal Hall—inside on weekdays—and into Trinity Church.
With Statue of Liberty visitors back on board you’ll have a chance to pose with the Wall Street Bull sculpture and enjoy a guided walk down the route of the Ticker Tape Parade (time permitting, other wise we will drive the route).
The next 45 minute attraction stop is at the 911 Memorial & Memorial Pools, plenty of time as your priority ticket allows you to skip the long entrance line and get right to the beautiful and emotional exhibit. We will need to have the name of each person in your party to provide this benefit.
The final off-the-shuttle stop is at the Empire State Building. This is where your included pre-purchased Reserve Ticket really pays off as you cut the ticket line, exhibit line and elevator line saving as much as 2–3 hours! This stop is for 45 minutes but, as it is the last stop, you are welcome to stay as long as you want—it is an amazing view from the highest point in the center of Manhattan. We will take those who wish to leave in 45 minutes back to Times Square or your mid-town hotel.
The above attractions are just those where you exit the shuttle. Along the way you’ll see Madison Avenue, the Waldorf Astoria, Met Life and Chrysler Buildings, the New York Public Library, Flatiron Building, Greenwich Village, Hell’s Kitchen, Cast Iron District, SOHO, Battery Park, USS Intrepid Aircraft Carrier and more. The blue column to the right has more information and pictures of most NYC attractions.
Priority and Reserve attractions tickets — a $74 value — included in the price.
