This is a small, attractive restaurant in the Alamo Square area of Fillmore. Complimentary parking available.

Prix-fixe dinner is at the low-price of $11.50, and consists of 3 courses—soup of the day (e.g., basil-tomato), Chef’s choice entree (e.g., pan-fried salmon in white-wine sauce), and dessert (e.g., chocolate mousse). For the current menu, phone before coming.

A la carte appetizers — fish soup with aioli croutons $5, mixed green salad $4, house paté served with cornichons, & kalamata olives $5, steamed mussels in wine broth $6.25, Alamo Square crab cakes served over corn, fennel, & jicama salad $6.95.

Entrees — fish specialties, all $13.95, e.g., salmon filet, snapper, tuna, swordfish, prepared as you like it – grilled, sautéed, poached, blackened—and with a choice of dressing. e.g., Béarnaise, Provencal, beurre blanc, vin rouge.

Other entrees include mixed vegetables with mushrooms & zucchini on polenta $8.50, crab cakes, with vegetables, lobster sauce $12.50, 10-oz grilled NY steak with béarnaise sauce and frites $13.50, breaded chicken breast with sautéed mushrooms $10.25.

Desserts —all $4.50, e.g., chocolate cake, tiramisu, poached pear in red wine.

Beverages —White wine $4.50–5.50 glass, $20–22 bottle, some higher, red wines $22–24 bottle, some higher, imported beer $3.50. Sparkling water $5.00 (!). Corkage $10.
