This is a simple, bustling place that serves good breakfasts, as well as lunches and dinners at very reasonable prices.

All burgers at Bashfull Bull are served with onion, lettuce, tomato, & pickle, cheese is 50 cents extra, avocado 75 cents. French fries are $1.65, potato salad or coleslaw $1.45.

The basic burgers are 1/4 lb, and then go up – Hamburger $3.05, cheeseburger $3.25, mushroom or chili burger $3.65, double burger (1/2 lb) $3.95, double cheeseburger $4.25, double chili or mushroom burger $4.55. triple burger (3/4 lb) – mushroom-cheese $5.45, chili $5.65. Fish burger $3.65.

Double and triple burgers are served as one patty.

Some breakfast items — with hash browns, toast & jelly, $3.88 — e.g., with plain omelet, ham & cheese, vegetable omelet, Denver omelet, 2 eggs and ham, bacon or sausage. And much more.

Some Lunch items – Special, with soup or salad, $5.50 – meat loaf (Mon), snapper (Tues), stew (Thurs), fish & chips (Fri).

Some dinner items – with soup or salad, potato or rice, vegetables, & garlic bread, $5.95, e.g., filet of sole, beef stroganoff, pork chops, pot roast, veal cutlet. From the deep fryer — fish & chips $6.45, fried chicken $6.45, fried scallops $7.25, steak & prawns $4.95.

Also, soup & salad combination $3.95, bowl of chili $2.85. Desserts – ice cream $1.25, cakes $1.50, pies $1.50.

Beer, domestic $2.25, imported $2.50, glass wine $2.75, 1/2 carafe $5.25, carafe $9.25.

Considering above prices, and good quality, it is no wonder that Bashful Bull is always packed.
