“Chinese-American” refers to Chinese restaurants that serve continental food, some exclusively, some together with a Chinese-food menu.

The advantage of Chinese-American restaurants to diners is that the cooks — who are often well-schooled and experienced — know how to cook, and offer the dishes at Chinese-food prices. It is generally not known, but many of the top chefs in Italian and French restaurants in San Francisco are Chinese.

This restaurant has been here for over 60 (sixty!) years.
Very simple but clean.

Large, attractive place, simple, but clean, established 1986.

A simple restaurant, 40 seats, with a large display of baked goods, including birthday cakes.

A large bakery-restaurant offering a large number of buns, sweet and savory, for 60 and 70 cents each. The restaurant specializes in rice and spaghetti plates, sandwiches, and noodle soups, Chinese and American style.
