Galette – San Francisco Restaurant

A French gem in Pacific Heights

Galette
2043 Fillmore St. (California St.), 928-1300
breakfast from 7-11am, lunch & dinner to 10pm.

It is not often that a restaurant in tony Pacific Heights falls into the class of “affordable dining", but Galette does. It is part of a small chain of French ventures including Bay Bread, Chez Nous (also in Pacific Heights), & La Boulangerie de Polk.

Galette is small, but with high ceilings and walls plastered with cartoons and French sport pages, making for a lively, friendly, informal scene.
