Each location has 30 seats, and both are simple and clean. Service in both is prompt and friendly. Counter service.
Both diners have in-house butchers and use USDA choice beef. They grind their burgers daily. They have a similar menu, but prices on Castro St are a little lower, and choices are broader. For example, Castro St. offers double-size burgers, 2 x 6-oz and 2 x 8oz (1-lb!) at unbeatable prices. Both make rotisserie-grilled hamburgers, and both feature free toppings on the hamburger from a bountiful salad bar of 18-20 items – free of charge.
Castro St. serves beer (popular brands, including Foster’s, Samuel Adams, Budweiser, Corona, Beck’s $2.75 bottle).
