Vietnam II - SF Vietnamese Restaurant Review

Vietnam II
701 Larkin St (O’Farrell), 885-1274
open 7 days 8am-12 midnight.

Very large, busy place, with extensive lunch and dinner menus. Lunch consists mainly of appetizers, rice, and noodle dishes, while dinner covers an unusual number of seafood and meat dishes as well. Vietnam II qualifies as “gourmet”, since its cooks are many-sided and innovative, with sizzling platters, combined seafood and meat dishes, claypot and firepot dishes, frog, quail, and, above all, in the preparation of live seafood. Their repertoire includes seldom-found abalone, as well.
