Very large, busy place, with extensive lunch and dinner menus. Lunch consists mainly of appetizers, rice, and noodle dishes, while dinner covers an unusual number of seafood and meat dishes as well. Vietnam II qualifies as gourmet, since its cooks are many-sided and innovative, with sizzling platters, combined seafood and meat dishes, claypot and firepot dishes, frog, quail, and, above all, in the preparation of live seafood. Their repertoire includes seldom-found abalone, as well.

Vietnam II is a longtime favorite of the Vietnamese community for breakfast (Chinese-style), lunch, and dinner. One of the main features is live seafood, which changes seasonally. Recently, it included crab ($8/lb), lobster (small $15.95 each, large $15.95/lb), rock cod ($15/lb). The diner has many choices in the preparation.
