1999 Lancaster is a complex, layered wine, revealing concentrated currant and black plum notes, a graceful texture and a polished finish.

The estate Merlot, which showed particular concentration and depth in this vintage, was featured prominently in the blend.

A large portion of Cabernet Sauvignon added structure and palate length, while Cabernet Franc provided aromatic high notes.
