A thread of black pepper, the trademark of a great Dry Creek Zin, starts with the aroma and winds its way through to the long satisfying finish. A big wine tamed by well-ballanced flavors, our 2000 Estate Zin fills your palate with the perfect marriage of bright raspberry fruit and subtle black pepper with a hint of vanilla. This wine shows plenty of texture and character to last for a while in your cellar, but its richness of flavors are so tempting you may find yourself drinking it now.
Hand-harvested and fermented in open-top vats with three daily punchdowns. Aged in French and American oak barrels for approximately 16 months.
