Sangiovese is the primary grape varietal used in the world famous Chianti blend of Italy's Tuscany region.

Our Sangiovese shows exceptional fruit, complexity, aging characteristics and intense aromas. It has flavors of raspberry, toasty vanilla, and plum in the nose; and it was aged in a combination of new and used American and French oak barrels.

Rabbit Ridge Sangiovese was the first California Sangiovese to rank in the top 100 wines in the world listed by Wine Spectator.
