Winery Tasting Room in Napa, California
Napa Valley & Sonoma Wine Tasting Tours
-------------------------------------------------
Brian and Lori Nuss have grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes on Napa’s Mt. Veeder since 1990. Grown sustainably on the rugged volcanic mountain soil, the grapes are farmed to bring out every nuance of terroir and varietal; they are sold to premium wineries such as Robert Craig and Cuvaison Winery.
In 1998, the Nuss family began setting aside a portion of the grapes for use in their first wine label, Vinoce. Five years later they started Twenty Rows as a value label, and it has won consistently high ratings and awards ever since.
Ta stings, by appointment only, are conducted around a large table. It’s a relaxed, informal and intimate way to taste and learn about the wines. Not interrupted by the comings and goings of other visitors, the server can concentrate on a small number of tasters (sometimes just one or two people), making it comfortable to ask as many questions as you like.
Twenty Rows also opens its doors for special weekly events such as Reggae In Your Glass Thurzday, Hump Day Holiday Happy Hour, Blues Cheese Festival, and the Jazzy Frazzy Friday.
Fascinating Fact:
Brian and Lori Nuss moved to Napa Valley in the early 1980s when Brian, then a building contractor, was hired by comedian/actor Robin Williams to build a home atop Mt. Veeder.
