Hilltop Napa Valley winery on the Silverado Trail
Napa Valley & Sonoma Wine Tasting Tours
-------------------------------------------------
Ron and Diane Miller bought vineyard land in the Stag’s Leap District in the early 1970s with the intention of selling their excellent grapes to other wineries.
They did so for a few years, but eventually decided to make their own wine. In 1981 they set about fulfilling this dream, building a winery and planning their first vintage.
Today the family owns six vineyards in Napa Valley and nearby Carneros, and is known for producing fine, hand-crafted wines.
The elegant Mediterranean-style stone and redwood winery rests on a knoll above the Silverado Trail, barely visible from the road.
At the winery, be sure to enjoy its beautiful, flower-filled gardens, courtyard, and fountain. Inside you’ll delight over the barrel room and large tasting room with Napa Valley and Silverado Trail views through huge windows.
On the back terrace you’ll sit at a sturdy table beneath an umbrella, enjoying a glass of superb wine while taking in breathtaking views of Napa Valley and Mount St. Helena.
Fascinating Fact:
Diane Miller is the daughter of legendary cartoonist and entertainment maven Walt Disney.
