Chef Michael Chiarello’s Paninoteca & Wine Bar in Yountville, CA

Celebrity Chef Michael Chiarello knows a lot about the wine country lifestyle—especially in Napa Valley, where he owns a winery (Chiarello Family Vineyards), a restaurant (Bottega Ristorante), and an upscale shop selling food, wine, and cookware. The shop’s name, NapaStyle, is taken from Chiarello’s enormously popular TV show of the same name.

At NapaStyle’s Paninoteca & Wine Bar you, too, can enjoy the Napa Valley lifestyle. NapaStyle and Bottega Ristorante are located in the historic 1870 Groezinger Winery and Distillery now known as V Marketplace.

At the tasting bar you can try out wines from Chiarello Family Vineyards. Cozy up to the wine bar, or, if you like, take your glass outside to the patio. You’ll probably do that anyway if you’ll be sampling NapaStyle’s Italian-influenced menu.

There’s a mouth-watering selection of hot and cold panini, a few delicious salads, and a range of family-style antipasto platters; or perhaps you’d prefer to take away a “Lunch-in-a-Box” of panino, salad, pickled vegetables, and a cookie.

At NapaStyle you can also buy beautiful glassware, wine accessories, tableware, cookbooks, and gift items—or watch a cooking demonstration.

Fascinating Fact:

Fast-tracker Michael Chiarello graduated from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in 1982 and received a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management in 1984. The next year he opened two restaurants and became the 1985 Food & Wine Magazine Chef of the Year.
