Wine Shop & Wine Bar at Historic V Marketplace in Yountville CA

V Wine Cellar is housed in the historic 1870 Groezinger Winery and Distillery, a beautiful red-brick building—now known as V Marketplace—that's been updated periodically through the decades and has recently been refurbished throughout.

With its exposed stonework, hardwood flooring and gleaming mahogany wood, the Cellar provides a stunning backdrop for approximately 3000 bottles of wine from around the world.

V Wine Cellar does two things exceedingly well. It’s a high-end wine shop stocked with quality wines from Napa and around the world, along with glassware, artwork, and wine-related accessories.

You can also try out wines at the large tasting bar, in the lounge with its fireplace and comfy sofas and plush leather chairs, or—in good weather—on the outdoor patio.

Thanks to the store’s huge selection of wine, tasting selections change daily. If you choose, accompany your tasting with a cheese board, salumi platter, or crostini from the small plate menu. You can also sign up for a private blending seminar in which you’ll take home a bottle of the wine you created.

Fascinating Fact:

An area of V Wine Cellar is devoted to Napa’s rare and expensive “cult” wines. The store also sells hard-to-find French vintages dating from the early 20th century—some go for thousands of dollars.
