 Our full day tour of Yosemite National Park is a great way to experience some of the most exciting scenery in California including Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Falls, Cathedral Rocks and the 3500ft El Capitan.
 This fully guided all day tour will show you the highlights of the park in one day. Our small groups allow much greater flexibility for sightseeing and various options inside the park.
 Your Yosemite Park day tour lasts approximately 14 hours. Yosemite National Park is located 200 miles east of San Francisco. After a scenic drive through the East Bay we head up into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains where the discovery of gold in 1848 started the California gold rush.
We'll pass through one of the original gold rush towns and arrive in Yosemite National Park around 11:00am. Your tour director will narrate your journey, pointing out sites of interest and explaining Yosemite National Park history as you tour Yosemite Valley where you can choose from a number of options in Yosemite Village for lunch (not included).
 Yosemite is home to North America's highest waterfalls, Yosemite Falls, Ribbon Falls and Sentinel Falls.
 We will also make stops at the famous cliffs of Half Dome, Cathedral Rocks and the 3000ft El Capitan where we might see rock climbers on their 4-7 day journey.
The tour allows 5 hours inside the park.
Options in the afternoon usually include a hike to the Giant Sequoias—the largest and oldest trees in the world (seasonal—weather permitting).
